What You Need To Do About Dark Inner Thighs and Under Arms

May 13, 2017 By sklog Leave a Comment

Every lady wants to have a fantastic sexual appeal. This desire is not restricted to having only an attractive face. It extends to her entire body. Every lady secretly wants that sexy body. Apparently, this is because a glowing and flawless skin brings additional happiness and an extra sense of a satisfaction. Advantage with the guys? You bet so too!  No lady wants to always conceal a repelling skin because soon enough, the mirror or other persons would point out the defect; reminding them of the bitter truth.

Dark inner thighs and under arms can make anyone feel unattractive, especially when it is in total contrast with your actual skin complexion. For many, the resultant effect becomes a diminished confidence and sense of self-worth, and increased insecurities.

Imagine getting a pretty swimming suit and going to the swimming pool with friends, only to be reminded by the sight of your darker inner thighs and underarms that you’re better off not flaunting your body because of an unexplainable blemish. It becomes even extremely frustrating for some who are later left with no choice than to wear specific types of clothes in order to avoid sly and unkind remarks from people.

In truth, dark inner thighs are not the only parts of your body that can make you feel insecure. Dark or black knees, knuckles and elbows are also areas where a lot of people are quick to pass judgment as to the cause of the discolouration. The most popular one everyone is quick to associate this defect with is “bleaching”. Such discolorations are also often erroneously attributed to poor hygiene or even previous infections from sexually transmitted diseases, whereas that may not necessarily be the case. Tough world, isn’t it?

Just before we take a look at how to get rid of these discolorations, (also known as hyper a pigmentation), what are the common causes of this skin defect? They include the following:

Obesity: Obese persons easily have dark inner thighs due to their thighs rubbing against each other as they walk or exercise. Rubbing thighs can cause discolouration and itchy skin; a condition called ‘chaffing’.

Friction: Excess friction and sweating between the thighs can result in dark thighs. Also, wearing of very tight clothing may worsen the problem.

Medication and drugs: some medications such as oral contraceptives have been found to cause inner thigh darkening.

Other causes include absence of thigh gaps, hormonal imbalance, shaving with razor and other bikini hair removal techniques, specific medical conditions like (Acanthosis Nigricans), diabetes and insulin resistance.

What then are the possible solutions?

First, prevention! The best approach remains to avoid all the instances given above. Try to lose some weight, apply Vaseline jelly or oil to reduce chaffing, consume lots of water and antioxidant fruits, avoid exposing your thighs to too much sunlight when sunbathing, study the side effects of certain medications and make an effort to see a physician as soon as you notice a discolouration on your thighs.

Notwithstanding, assuming you are looking to attack your present situation, the question then would be whether or not there really is a solution that can get you the desired result.

Studies show that a great way to achieve this is to frequently exfoliate your skin. This gets rid of old dead skin and eventually gives you the desired tone and skin texture. More so, NaturaGlow’s Body Scrub; an exfoliant, works great for all skin types that suffers from hyper-pigmentation. The big question then becomes, are you using any form of exfoliant for your discolouration? If yes, is it turmeric based? And how often do you use it?

Like we often advise; with natural, the process is gradual but healthy. Although consistency is a necessary factor here, it brings with it results that are not deceptive.

With us, you no longer have to deal with embarrassingly dark inner-thighs and underarms.

Perfect skin? Limitless choices of what to put on? Personal happiness and confidence? We advocate for the use of natural products as against chemically engineered creams and drugs.
